Events earn points (heart)

Events with the highest score appear on the front page (leaderboard) for each city.

Every event starts off with 0 hearts, after that they earn:

1 for every share on facebook, twitter or google plus.

1 for every 5 unique views.

1 for having a category (not unknown)

2 for having a well formatted venue (at least a name, street, city and latitude/longitude)

3 for being claimed by at least one organiser.

All of our events are sourced from eventbrite, last.fm and facebook.

Right now we have 861,669 events across 1,727 cities and 171 countries.
